Description

The oil bubbler is what sits between your ozone generator and you. Ozone gas is a lung irritant and must never be breathed directly. Bubbling it through oil first is what makes the Breathing Ozonated Oil (BOO) protocol possible.

How It Works

Ozone from your generator enters the flask through an SS316 sintered stainless steel diffuser stone, which breaks it into a fine, even stream of bubbles. Vegetable oils are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, and ozone reacts readily with the double bonds in those fats, forming ozonides and other lipid oxidation products. It is the vapour above the oil that is drawn off through the nasal cannula.

Change the oil

The oil is consumed by the reaction. Once it is saturated it stops reacting, and what reaches the cannula is no longer what you intend to breathe. Harshness, throat dryness or any irritation is your signal to stop and change the oil. Never run a flask past the point where it feels different.
